Our Research and Development Lab has developed a prototype mobile mapping system for MES Energy, for measuring the lux levels of street lights. Using stereo cameras the position and the height of the lamp post can be determined together with the lux levels. Lux levels are Georeferenced and can be overlayed in GIS environments for analysis.
